The Multi Sectoral Advisory Council (MSEAC) of Districts 1, 2, and 3 of ROMELCO conducted it’s first quarterly meeting at ROMELCO Main Office in Barangay Capaclan Romblon Romblon last June 15-16, 2017. The MSEAC will serves as information channels in the dissemination of electric cooperatives programs and policies. It will also stand as consumers arm of the coop in attending to the issues concerning electric service affecting their districts particularly the sectors they are representing. They will also support the management in effectively carrying out campaigns in pilferages and collection.

PAKSA: ROMELCO conducted a training for the meter reader and collector of ECA last June 13, 2017
The Romblon Electric Cooperative Inc (ROMELCO) conducted a training for the meter reader and collector of Electric Consumers Association (ECA) to the recipient of palibreng pakuryente in the different barangays of the municipality of Romblon last June 13, 2017 at coops main office in Barangay Capaclan Romblon Romblon. The seminar was hosted by the Institutional Department of ROMELCO that answers to the campaign for improvement of collection, membership information and education as well as implementation of coops special projects.

The Romblon Electric Cooperative Inc (ROMELCO) marked its 28th year of being an electric distributor in the province of Romblon today June 14, 2017. Cheers to a more challenging years ahead and fruitful service to all its member consumers. The men and women of ROMELCO will continuously be at service with dedication to all its member consumers keeping the light shinning in their heart.
A simple celebration for Romelco’s 28th Anniversary was held at the coops headquarters in Brgy Capaclan Romblon, Romblon today June 14, 2017. A thanksgiving mass was held at the lobby of the office to give back to the Lord all the glory and praises for the guidance in the operation of the coop for 28 years now. A snack was also served after the mass.

Nagsagawa ng informational meeting ang Romblon Electric Cooperative Inc sa Barangay Cobrador Romblon, Romblon noong June 01, 2017 hinggil sa pagbabagong magaganap sa operasyon ng kanilang kuryente. Ang meeting kung saan naging paksa ang overloading dahil na rin sa mga illegal flying connection na siyang numero unong problema sa isla ay naghantong sa pagbabago ng operasyon ng Solar Hybrid Project doon.

PAKSA: Para sa lahat ng aming nga member consumers sa munisipyo ng Romblon, tayo po ay nakakaranas ngayon ng “Load Shedding” sa ibat ibang bahagi ng isla
Para sa lahat ng aming nga member consumers sa munisipyo ng Romblon, tayo po ay nakakaranas ngayon ng “Load Shedding” sa ibat ibang bahagi ng isla. Ito po ay paghahati-hati lamang ng natitirang kapasidad ng mga makinang may operasyon sa planta ng ating supplier ang National Power Corporation dahil sila po ay nagsasagawa ng maintenance sa dalawang makina.
Asahan po na magtatagal ng dalawat kalahating (2 1/2 hrs) oras ang brownout na inyong mararanasan simula sa oras na ito ay mag shut down sa inyong mga lugar.
Ang kasalukuyang sitwasyon ay sanhi na rin ng sobrang init ng panahon kaya kami po ay humihingi ng paumanhin sa lahat na sana ay inyong lubos na maunawaan.

Ang brownout po na ating nararanasan ngayon May 21, 2017 Lingo sa munisipyo ng Romblon ay sanhi ng biglaang pag shut down ng mga makina sa mismong planta ng NAPOCOR sa Brgy Capaclan Romblon. Sa ngayon po ay tumutulong na ang mga kawani ng Romelco sa NPC partikular ang mga teknikal na empleyado nito upang alamin at bigyan ng solusyon ang problema para maibalik ang normal na operasyon ng kuryente sa ating lahat.

PAKSA: The 25th Annual General Membership Assembly of ROMELCO in Romblon Public Plaza Romblon Romblon last May 6, 2017 was a total jam packed
The 25th Annual General Membership Assembly of Romblon Electric Cooperative Inc. (ROMELCO) in Romblon Public Plaza Romblon Romblon last May 6, 2017 was a total jam packed. The registration committee of the coop decided to start earlier than its official time because member consumers started to line up at the plaza. Senior citizens were given priorities as well as consumers with children. Snacks were also given and souvenir items like bags mugs and foldable fan celebrating coops silver years in conducting the assembly.

PAKSA: ROMELCO created its Multi-Sectoral Electrification Advisory Council and we’re given proper orientation by NEA last May 5, 2017
The Romblon Electric Cooperative Inc. (ROMELCO) created its Multi-Sectoral Electrification Advisory Council (MSEAC) and we’re given proper orientation by the National Electrification Administration staff headed by Miss Regina Feloteo Information Chief of Cooperative Development Division of NEA last May 5, 2016 at the Social Hall of Romblon West Central School Romblon, Romblon. Representatives from the six (6) districts actively participated in the seminar presenting their sectors namely youth, womens, agro-fishery, civic, business, local government, barangay council, religious, education and media. The MSEAC will be the consumer arm of the cooperative in information dissemination, program enhancement and monitoring in the district they are representing. They will be the sectoral advisory council of the coop providing ideas resulting to programs that will help their sectors by providing reliable electric power. The federated officials elected were Miss Nelly Taupo as President from district 2, Mr Chris Mazo as Vice President from district 1 and Mr Joseph Gutierrez as Secretary from district 4.

The new elected board of directors of Romblon Electric Cooperative, Inc. – ROMELCO started its briefing last May 5, 2017 at ROMELCO Headquarters Brgy Capaclan, Romblon, Romblon. The elected officials were oriented regarding the cooperatives history mission and its operation that was given by the company’s Information Officer. While GM Rene Fajilagutan explains the target of ROMELCO to have a 90% renewable energy by year 2020. Institutional Manager Peter Morante closed the briefing with their responsibility and power being the board of directors of ROMELCO .
