ROMELCO tribe never fails to join Biniray Festival every year. The fluvial parade celebrated every second Saturday of January attracts foreign and local tourist joining the “sadsad”. Tribu ROMELCO is headed by GM Fajilagutan and members of the board of directors as well as department heads.

ROMELCO conducted another Task Force Kapatid to Marinduque Electric Cooperative Inc (MARELCO) that was devastated by typhoon Nina. Mandated by the National Electrification Administration (NEA) and armed with skills and determination, ROMELCO Rangers fly fast to Marinduque last January 5, 2017.

ROMELCO Team headed by General Manager Rene M. Fajilagutan traverse the rough sea last January 12, 2017 going to Corcuera (Simara) just to be able to meet the residents of the municipality for the formal turn over of the distribution of electric service from lgu to the coop. The team was warmly received by Corcuera’s Vice Mayor Elmer Fruelda and prepared a very energetic crowd composed of barangay captains and members of the council, principals and teacher in charge of all schools in the municipality and members of the sangguniang bayan council. ROMELCO conducted pre-memebrship orientation seminar and explained the rationale and background of the coops operation.

EWPSI is the company responsible for the full system automation of Romelco, conducted an orientation and rebuilding of system last December 20-22, 2016 at Romelco headquarters in Brgy Capaclan, Romblon, Romblon. The team headed by Mr. Mauricio Labitorio project head focus their system re structuring on billing and accounting. While Mr. Delfin Caching and Mr. Tad Carpio take turns on institutions complaints and technical side.

Romelco Info Officer Alma Baron Regala conducted a meeting to Electric Consumer Association (ECA) of Busay Guimpingan in Romblon, Romblon to address problem in the association and remind all the member of their rights and responsibilities to coop being the distributor of electric service mandated by the National Electrification Administration (NEA). The meeting was held at the Barangay Hall of Guimpingan last December 19, 2016.

A demo to all Romelco linemen was conducted by Frontier company representative Mr. Joemar Bebertris introducing Fluke Gadgets namely earth resistance tester, digital multi tester and insulation last December 14-15, 2016 at the coops headquarters in Brgy. Capaclan Romblon. The purpose of the said activity is to familiarize the linemen of the proper usage and installation of the gadgets.

The Romblon Electric Cooperative Inc (ROMELCO) in coordination with the National Electrification Administration (NEA) conducted a seminar regarding Quality Customer Relation Workshop last December 6-8, 2016 at Dream Paradise Mountain Resort Brgy Mapula Romblon.
The three day seminar/workshop was a roaring success that aims to enhance the customer relation skills of the coops employee to it’s member-consumer.
