Conducts pre-membership orientation<\/h1>\n

\nConducts pre-membership orientation to new applicants to brief them and informed them of coop’s policies as well as their rights and privileges<\/p>\n

Inform the\u00a0member consumers<\/h1>\n

\nThe Institutional department are also responsible in conducting meetings to the member consumers on its coverage area to be able to inform them of the new program of the the electric cooperative.\n<\/p>\n

Train and prepares<\/h1>\n

\nROMELCO’s arm in operation are the association of barangay power and electric consumers known as BAPA and ECA. Institutional people are the one who trained them and prepares them in handling the operation in their areas particularly in collection and informational dissemination.\n<\/p>\n

Attend to the assemblies and meetings<\/h1>\n

\nThe institutional people attend to the invitations in barangay assemblies and meetings for the cooperative to conduct an all-out information campaign; not only because majority of the residents of the barangay are present during assembly meetings but because all of the officials of the local barangay unit can easily coordinate with ROMELCO staff for future projects in their areas. A proper assistance can be directly given to them for faster and efficient service termed as \u201cextra mile\u201d for the member consumers.\n<\/p>\n

Conducts meetings<\/h1>\n

\nThe cooperative particularly the Institutional department conducts a meeting regularly with barangay electricians accredited to ROMELCO to update them on the new projects as well as new policies of the cooperative. The meeting also serves as a way to hear the voices of the electricians\u2019 suggestions for the betterment of their services as well as develop good camaraderie of both parties.\n<\/p>\n

Host the conduct of annual general membership assemblies<\/h1>\n

\nOne of the major responsibility of Institutional department in the cooperative is to host the conduct of annual general membership assemblies to its member-consumer to report the over all operation of the coop from the previous year.\n<\/p>\n

Caters to most of consumers\u2019 complaints and requests<\/h1>\n

\nThe Institutional Services Department caters to most of consumers’ complaints and requests that are easily accessed to members\u2019 history and current status. The system which provides convenience to both consumer and coop, also provides a monthly summary of complaints and requests that is beneficial to the monitoring of performance as well as in the reports submitted to the National Electrification Administration (NEA).\n<\/p>\n
